Terms and conditions

Effective from 20th February 2026

Snugfit Boilers (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides boiler and heat pump installation services across the UK. These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of our services and apply to all contracts entered into between Snugfit Boilers and the customer (“you”, “your”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By accepting a quote, booking our services or allowing us to begin work, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

(1) Our services

We provide the installation, replacement, servicing and maintenance of boilers, heat pumps and associated heating systems.

All work will be carried out by qualified and competent engineers in accordance with current UK regulations and industry standards.

Any services not specifically detailed in your quotation are excluded unless agreed in writing.

(2) Quotations and pricing

All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of assessment.

Quotes are valid for a period stated on the quotation. If no period is stated, they remain valid for 30 days.

If additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you before proceeding and provide a revised cost for approval.

(3) Booking and payment terms

A deposit may be required to secure your installation date.

Full payment is due upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation.

(4) Installation

Installation dates are agreed in advance but may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including supplier delays, weather conditions or safety concerns.

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property and ensure the work area is clear prior to installation.

We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, structural issues or pre existing faults not previously identified.

(5) Existing systems and unforeseen issues

While we take reasonable care during installation, we cannot be held responsible for faults within pre existing pipework, radiators, electrics or other parts of your heating system that were not installed by us.

If issues arise that require additional remedial work, we will discuss options and costs with you before proceeding.

(6) Warranties and guarantees

Manufacturer warranties apply to boilers, heat pumps and components supplied by us. These warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Any workmanship guarantee provided by Snugfit Boilers will be outlined in your quotation or contract.

Warranties may be void if the system is not serviced annually or is tampered with by unauthorised persons.

(7) Government grants and incentives

Where applicable, we may assist you with grant applications or government schemes.

Eligibility and approval decisions are made solely by the relevant governing body. We cannot guarantee acceptance or funding.

You remain responsible for ensuring that any information provided for grant applications is accurate and complete.

(8) Cancellations

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless work has already begun with your consent.

If materials have been ordered or work has commenced, reasonable costs may be deducted from any refund.

Cancellations must be made in writing.

(9) Limitation of liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of income or business interruption.

Our total liability in relation to any contract shall not exceed the total amount paid for the services provided.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

(10) Maintenance and servicing

It is your responsibility to ensure your boiler or heat pump is serviced annually in line with manufacturer guidance.

Failure to maintain your system properly may invalidate warranties and affect performance.

We are not responsible for issues arising from lack of maintenance after installation.

(11) Force majeure

We shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to supplier shortages, extreme weather, transport disruption, strikes or regulatory changes.

(12) Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly so we can resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

We are committed to addressing concerns professionally and in good faith.

(13) Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

(14) Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
